SmartTech-IC is an international conference conceived to attract researchers, scientists and technologists from some of the top companies, universities, research groups, and government agencies from Latin America and around the world to communicate their research results, inventions and innovative applications in the area of Smart Science and the most recent technological trends. The SmartTech-IC conference aims to provide an academic platform to promote the creation of technical and scientific collaboration networks. The SmartTech-IC 2022 conference will be held in conjuntion with ATICA 2022 conference, at Universidad Politecnica Salesiana located in Cuenca - Ecuador.
ATICA is an international congress organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project from the European Union (EduTech), which provides a forum that will foster relations between the university and industry. This congress aims to provide alliances for developing innovative ideas related to TICs, Computer Science, emerging technologies based on the web, mobile computing, accessibility, quality of higher education, virtual education (in any of its modalities), social inclusion in higher education, entrepreneurship and employability of graduates.

Teodiano Freire Bastos received his degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (Vitoria, Brazil), in 1987. His specialist's degree in Automation / Robotics from Industrial Automation Institute (IAI) of the CSIC, (Madrid, Spain) in 1989, and his Ph.D degree in Physical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, in 1994. In addition, Teodiano continued his research career as a postdoctoral at the Universidad de Alcalá (Spain, 2005) and he made a second postdoctoral stay at RMIT University (Australia, 2012). Currently, He is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo and Senior Researcher at the CNPq (Vitoria, Brazil). His broad research interests are in advenced control systems with application to mobile robots, industrial robots, rehabilitation robotics, assistive technologies, as well as in the processing of biomedical signals (sEMG, EOG, ECG and EEG).
Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished papers are solicited in all topics and sub-topics described above. Authors are invited to submit papers through easychair platform.
Submissions will have a double-blind review process and the accepted papers will be included in the SmartTech-IC proceedings.
